HFPA president Jorge Camara said he was “very disappointed” that “millions of viewers worldwide will be deprived of seeing many of their favorite stars celebrating 2007’s outstanding achievements in motion pictures and television.”
boo hoo. Yet another awards ceremony no one really wanted to see. You know I’m Miss Optimistic, but the sheer NUMBER OF AWARDS Hollywood doles out to themselves is insanity personified. WHY DO THEY NEED AWARDS???? Don’t they ALREADY get paid a shitload of money for basically having a good time??? Does ANY OTHER PROFESSION congratulate themselves as frequently?!!?!

I wish the entire awards season - except the Oscars - were scrapped. That’s right. Every. Single. Awards. Show.
